This is a translation. In case of any difference, the French version prevails.
In short
Cubix can be played without creating an account. Since version 1.1.0, the game shows ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner during games, videos you choose to watch in exchange for a reward and, from time to time, a full-screen ad after a defeat. The game does not sell any personal data and your progress stays on your phone.
Data kept on your device
The data the game needs is saved locally:
- completed levels and stars, best scores;
- coins, gems, hint tokens and skins;
- your profile: username and age;
- sound, music, vibration and graphics settings.
Your age never leaves your phone. This data is not sent to SUNDER DEV and is erased if you uninstall Cubix or clear its data.
Connection to the game’s online service
For the world leaderboard, online duels, VIP codes and remote settings, Cubix uses Unity Gaming Services. An anonymous sign-in creates a random identifier, with no name or email address. Remote settings are used only to adjust the game’s balance without an update; downloading them does not transmit any personal data.
World leaderboard and online duels
When you play Survival, your username, your best score and your level in the journey are stored with Unity and visible to other players on the leaderboard. During an online duel, your username, your level and the moves of the game are sent to your opponent through Unity’s servers. Do not put your full name or any personal information in your username: usernames containing inappropriate words are rejected.
Game Center and Google Play Games
If you are signed in to Game Center (iPhone) or Google Play Games (Android), the game links that account to your Unity identifier, so you can recover your player identity on another phone. Your Game Center or Play Games player name may be suggested as your username; you remain free to choose another one. These services are provided by Apple and Google and governed by their own terms.
VIP codes
If you enter a VIP code, the game records with Unity the code number and an encrypted fingerprint of your device, so that a given code can only be used on a single phone. This fingerprint cannot be used to identify you.
Ads
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To display them, measure their effectiveness and fight fraud, Google may process the device’s advertising identifier, the IP address (and therefore an approximate location), the device model and language, as well as your interactions with the ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game shows Google’s consent form on first launch: you can accept personalized ads or refuse them; in that case, ads remain non-personalized. You can change this choice at any time in Settings, with the “Ad privacy” button. On iPhone, the game may ask for Apple’s tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency), at most once: if you refuse, Apple’s advertising identifier is used neither by Google nor by Meta, and you can change this choice in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete the advertising identifier in your phone’s settings. The “No ads” purchase removes the banner and full-screen ads. Data processed by Google is governed by Google’s privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and its rules on how its partners use data (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
In-app purchases
Cubix offers packs of hint tokens and packs of gems. Apple or Google processes the payment. RevenueCat is used to display the products, validate the purchase, prevent fraud and deliver what you bought. In this context, the purchase history and an anonymous random identifier are processed. Cubix asks for neither your name nor your email address.
Meta ad measurement
Cubix advertises on Facebook and Instagram. To find out which ads help people discover the game, it includes the software development kit of Meta Platforms Ireland. This kit only starts if you are at least 16 years old (the age in your profile) and, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, only if you have agreed in the consent form to the storage of information on the device and to the measurement of ad performance. It then sends Meta: the installation and opening of the game, completed games and levels reached, in-app purchases, revenue from the ads shown, as well as the device’s advertising identifier (on iPhone, only if you have allowed tracking), the device model, language and operating system version, and the IP address. Meta uses this data to measure and improve our campaigns; it does not include your username, your age or your name. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the “Ad privacy” button in Settings. This data is governed by Meta’s privacy policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy).
Audience measurement (Google Analytics)
To understand how the game is used and improve it, Cubix uses Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google. It measures: installation, app opens and play time, screens viewed and buttons tapped, how games go (modes, scores, duration, levels reached, how games end), in-app purchases, in-game currency earned and spent, ads viewed, chosen settings and game errors. Google also receives a random installation identifier, the device model, language and system version, and the IP address, from which it only derives an approximate location (country, city) without keeping it. This data does not include your nickname, your age or your name. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, until you answer the consent form, or if you refuse, Google Analytics only receives signals without any identifier or cookie, which cannot be used to recognize you; full measurement only starts if you accept the storage of information on the device, and advertising data is only used if you accepted the advertising purposes. Under 13 (the age in your profile), no advertising data is used. You can change this choice at any time in the game’s Settings. The data is kept for 14 months, then deleted. It is governed by Google’s privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Service providers
The processing carried out by Apple (App Store, Game Center), Google (Google Play, Play Games, AdMob, Google Analytics), Meta, RevenueCat and Unity is also governed by their own privacy policies.
Permissions
The game uses the device’s sound and vibrations, and an internet connection for purchases, the leaderboard, online duels and VIP codes. Cubix does not ask for access to the microphone, contacts, photos or location.
Children
Cubix does not require an account and does not knowingly collect personal data about children. The age requested on first launch stays on the phone. In-app purchases remain subject to the settings and authorization of the Apple or Google account used on the device.

Deletion is carried out within 30 days and you will be sent a confirmation. Purchase history is kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat in accordance with their legal obligations.
